Working and building and geeking and playing, and crying

For someone who has problems getting around and has to work on anything that involves standing or exertion on a 15 minute on/15 minute off work cycle, I seem to have quite a few irons in the fire. The door techno stuff sounds so cool.
Sorry the mouses done dug into your memories, but perhaps that's a long-term benefit? There is something...potentially organic about that. I've found, at least for me, sometimes grief stages are easier when inspired by outside events. Sorry either way.

I am in awe of the kind of project work you are able to complete. My first thought when you mentioned the wet car seat was that I once owned a Chrysler that, due to malfunctioning computer, would roll the windows down and turn the radio on when I wasn't there! (I swear, it's true:)

I understand what you mean about your mother's coats. Over the years, I purchased my mom a mink cape and then a full length black sable mink faux fur (at an AIDS benefit silent auction); she adored them both, but seldom wore them. My sister doesn't want them and fur has become so verboten. I brought them back with me to sell here in Minnesota, but I admit, handling them opens up the floodgates ....

May Jeff and you get the breaks you need and remain as healthy as possible!

HUGS!

This is good to hear, which means keep doing what your doing. :-)

Sorry about the memories. I have Mom's Le Creuset Dutch oven that I need to find a way to get rid of the soot on the outside from being used on a camp fire a couple of weeks ago. It's enameled cast iron and is about 35 years old or so.

So sorry to hear about the destruction by rodent. I had tears in my eyes when I sent mom's fur jacket to where she wanted it to go - but also felt good about fulfilling her wishes.
