My how time flies when you are having fun. And it flies even faster it seems when one is very busy and there seems not enough time in a day to get everything done. You had me realizing that I, too, am a Great Uncle. My Niece Erin has 3 boys, from about 8 months to 5 years in age.
She's the ONLY one to go this far.
Sounded like you two had oodles of fun with your new family, now that you are officially apart of it after so many years.
Good luck to it all as you prepare for your vacation, and remember, you are an inspiration many of us trying to make our dreams come true too.

As I posted on my LJ, I wish we were in P-town so we could meet friends. We have local friends who are talking about overlapping for the end of Bear Week next year. If they do that, we may join them. ;-)

Have a wonderful time in P-Town. I went during season one year ... 1984, I believe, long before there were "bears" as a recognized group. It's too crowded for me, but you're going to be seeing folks you care about, so just enjoy!
