It's kinda warm in here for a change, so, Samantha is on the couch as I type this.
She is in my lap a great deal of the time when I am at my desk; this makes it very difficult to type, because it means having to lean forward, which causes Sam to jump off my lap, which causes me to feel guilty.. she'll march around the floor and cry, and I'll pick her up and she'll jump out of reach, and so on.
I can only write journal entries while she's crashed out on the couch.
I would miss you lots if you left here.. I know I am overdue to call you, and I will, and soon.
Sad about your bushes & trees that may break.. I have an 8' tall bush by the front door that is badly slumped over with the weight of snow & ice..
would hate to lose it.

I'm glad you're still posting here, at whatever level you feel comfortable with. And I want to thank you publically for the help you've been to me on the LED project I'm working on. You're a great guy.

"I acknowledge and cherish the friendships I have beyond my cat-covered keyboard, and like any friendship, it takes a certain amount of effort on my part to keep it thriving. Yeah, I could close up shop here, but the one who would ultimately suffer the most is me. I ain't gonna let that happen, trust me. Thanks to all of you who have kept my head in this space."
We loves ya, too, ya big galoot. Good to see you still around these parts.

By-Tor and Snow Dog -- there's a reason I like you. (I mean, other than the obvious woofiness.)
Yay for not going away. :)
