Jeff and I just got back from voting. I figured it would be less of a hassle to go now before the rest of the huddled masses come home from work, as the evenings tend to be much more crowded. About 15 minutes and we were both done. Only a handful of people there this time

I got on my crutches and clomped over to our polling place, armed with my cheat sheet.
Felt good to get off my butt and participate.
I just don't trust touchscreen voting machines. Too many shenanigans in 2000 and 04. Here in SF, they use paper ballots and scan them as they go into the ballot box. I feel better with a paper trail, in case the electronic tally is wonk.
Ain't it nice to do something normal?
