Technical prowess

Sometime during the last of all the camping trips last year I had lost or misplaced the battery charger for my little Pentax Optio W30 point-n-shoot. Since my trusty Canon S230 bit the dust a few years ago, this was my only pocketable camera, save for my cell phone. Sounds like me trying to get things working again but often not with success but it does happen on the rare occasion and have spent time trying to get stuff working w/out any really knowledge of what I was doing as a kid. :-)

I don't know why but stuff like this is intriguing, even if you don't know what you are doing.

The drivers side headlight in my 65 Valiant station wagon was like that.I'd have to punch the fender to get it to light.This went on for 3 years until I finally broke down and replaced the bulb!

We used to have a big color rprinter at work that had to regularly be kicked in the side to work correctly. We even had it on the list of weekly maintenance chores.
