Today's weather was nazztuh. I bagged work yet again mainly to avoid dealing with the icy conditions, and in the afternoon went out to renew my driver's license which expires this weekend. I would NOT want to live in Seattle with weather like this. When I was last there, the streets were such that I would have slid for ten blocks all the way to Pungent Sound if they were iced like this! lol

One thing I love in Texas is you can renew your license online and only have to get a new photo made every 12 years.

I actually got a mail-in application for a new license this time around. This is a first. The stipulation was that I had to include an official eye exam with the application. Since I didnt have one and didnt want to deal with it, I went in to the DMV on a day I thought would be less crowded. I lucked out this time. I figure the photo would have been carried over. Instead, I got a new one, which was awful.
