I've been hearing that a lot of people who browse yard sales just aren't...because of the economy AND gas prices. Willing to bet that those folks will be venturing out over the next few weeks, though.

You've got my sympathies over Kodi's grooming. Ickus' first puppy cut was with a woman who gave me an appointment time, had a hissy fit when I brought him in, insisted that I leave him for the grooming, then gave me more heartburn when I went to pick him up. I heard she went out of business shortly after that. We've gone through three other groomers since then...and the latest one is actually run by twin women who know now that diabetic schnauzers MUST be finished within 3 hours or they will have to deal with his tiny bladder. He's awfully handsome when I go to pick him up now!

As far as that last paragraph goes, maybe in your neck of the woods. I went to a couple of yard sales this weekend. Didn't buy much except for a few power cords, the non-metal-guitar kind.

In my neck of the woods, seems like everyone waited until May to have their yard sale. There are multiple community yard sales overlapping every weekend, making it impossible to hit each one.
