Can't get enough thump way down? 20 Hertz not good enough? Hows about an infrasonic subwoofer good to ONE Hz? To DC in fact?

Woof!

Um, is that better than my AM clock radio that is so old it runs on tubes? Did I mention it had one of those single 5 cent tan colored single earplugs? :-)

I need more highs (treble). After playing in bands back in the 70s and 80s I dont hear them good enough.

A thump at 0 Hz? That'd be the Big Bang, right?

Sounds very interesting.

Now I just have to replace the POS cassette deck in the truck with something much better, just to improve what bass I have.

It's interesting in that if you look at a typical music recording, most info below 20Hz is not there due to thoughts of human hearing being what it "is".

I've always loved the old way of doing bass back in the 50's, 60's, a big ol' 15" woofer gets mounted in a wall to achieve the bass response that most typical smaller loudspeakers of the day could not.

Also, using infinate baffles, sound tubes (ala the Kipschorn) has been imployed to increase the low frequencies beyond what the cone can do by itself.
