Hail, hail, the storm is (was) here

A really nasty storm crashed through the area at around 7pm tonight. The power went bonkers several times before staying out for at least an hour. The wind was strong enough that it tore apart the 10x20 foot tent/canopy in the front yard that was set up for Jeff's (since cancelled) Graduation party. I know this sounds awful (considering the damage which may have been done) but I miss those kinds of storms. Here there is heavy rain and wind but nothing as dramatic as East Coast ones. Hope the cars are OK though!

That's kinda sorta the thing about the South I dont like. Well, one of the things (there are plenty). The storms that blow through, or "cells" as they are called, are NASTY!

The car and hail thing really scares me. We have a new car and no garage or carport. I guess I will have to run outside in the middle of the night, in my tighty whities and pink curlers with a quilt or tarp to cover it, if there is a hail storm. I dunno.

Wow that totally missed us here, the strange thing about all that weather yesterday was just how spotty it was. rain here wind over there nothing in other areas.

all we got herei n G'belt was alot of noise and boomers
