Ahhh, my work here is done! *rubs hands gleefully together* :-D Seriously, I think she's such a fascinating character, I like bringing out different aspects of her and getting people to look at her in new ways.

Thank you! That's an aspect of Estella's character that has long intrigued me -- cold and remote as she is, she always does speak the truth, or nearly always.

Nicely done! I still don't like Estella, but thanks to this, at least I can understand her better. Also, I look forward to reading your series of Dickensian female characters! (*encouragement to write more*)
