The local B&Ns are having a contest as to who can sell the most gift cards (actually it's dollar amount in some sort of gift card/total transaction ratio, but still). I think it might have been Christmas presents for a whole lotta bosses--she said something about managers anyways.

And NO! We did not win the contest for that week! Flippin' ridiculous. I need to go to all the other B&Ns and steal their gift cards, thereby making them unpurchaseable.
