Okay, WHAT THE FUCK is up with Trick or Treating tonight? Last time I checked it was the 27th, and Halloween is on the 31st. I tried to get Mom to put a sign up saying "Come back on the 31st"--we'd give candy to the kids who show up on the right day. I don't blame the kids, they do what they're told. But these parents! That's what's going on here, too! I brushed it off as "Well, I guess the bars will all have parties now since they close early during weekdays" but that doesn't explain the trick-or-treaters and house parties tonight.

When I was a kid there was always a designated Trick or Treat night, and it was rarely actually on Halloween, so I guess I'm used to that.

We weren't home Saturday night so I'm not sure if they did the whole trick-or-treating thing here... It usually is done on Halloween, regardless if it's a school night, though...
