They showed '20 to 1' (it's an Aussie countdown show) a few weeks ago where they were doing 'TV Couples', I missed the episode but I heard from the lounge room that they had Xena/Gabrielle in the top twenty. I think it was 18 or 16.

Hahaha, that's awesome. It's so true though! In the beginning they at least tried to be subtle about it and throw around temporary male love interests. But by the last couple seasons, they gave up all pretenses.

I hate it when characters are written out of character. It just turns me off so much even if I'd really like to read the story because it's the only one for that pairing. I just can't read it without getting frustrated.
