Chapter seven of CI:A, Discipline, is now available. Please note that the demons of perversity continue to have a very firm grip on the storyline these days.
Well, wrap me up in a straight jacket, because I love it. I do so enjoy this treatment of Draco. I find that I can either love him, or cackle in glee while he is being tortured. I don't really have any middle ground when it comes to him.
I am curious what the conversation between Draco and Lucius was, though. I had at first thought that Lucius was telling him that he wasn't going to fix all his problems, but Draco still uses the threat of his father, thinking that he'll help him?
More Draco in the beginning of chapter seven, actually. And yeah, I'm an either/or sort myself.
As to the conversation, you've pretty much pegged it. In some respects, though, Draco is like a broken record. In my memory (which is admittedly faulty) he uses the same tired old taunts and such at school. I dunno about you, but after a while 'mudblood' just loses its sting, and suchlike.
So, this Draco just flat out can't believe his father would abandon him to his fate, no matter what he says, and he's still seeing Harry as 'Potty,' that boy he would try to torment in school, during a time when "My Father" was a valid threat, and when it was 'correct' to do so.
It's mildly tempting to have Harry or Voldemort do a memory wipe of anything that would remind Draco that Thanatos is Potter. Of course, if Harry had never allowed that info to slip, Draco wouldn't be playing Moony's bitch right now.
Oh I'm so glad to see this story back in action! And I'm so happy you're updating regularly again, like how you did with CI. Gives me something to look forward to after school and such ^__^. I love Marius and Armand, and how protective and jealous Voldy is...it's so cute. 0__0;; Don't tell him I said that eh heh. It's always amusing to torture poor Draco, but I'm still hoping he makes it out alive by the end of the story (I've got a soft spot for the little ferret). I hope to see more of Bill and Charlie, and what Harry's going to do with Minister Scrimmy heh.

It is (presently) extremely unlikely that Draco will end up dead, though... I admit... I do have some optional plans laid out for that eventuality (having learned over time that I will go back on things I've sworn I'd never do).
Chapter seven has more Draco at the start. I'm also about to have a general assembly for the DEs (minus Draco) regarding two things (one of which touches on Scrimgeour, and the other Weath).
Not sure right now where Bill and Charlie would fit back in.
Oh, yeah, I need to make a note about that dinner party, too, don't I.
I wouldn't actually ever dream of watching that movie, though I've heard it's brilliant. I'm just too squeamish. Why, I still have occasional flashbacks to one of the Nightmare on Elm Street flicks, where one of the girls is dreaming... she's working out... and her arms split at the elbows, I think, and out pops roach, um, arms... and then something about a sticky roach trap.
I dunno... and every time my waterbed shifts funny, I meep.
Yeah, Lucius already did actually suffer some public humiliation with that whole hentaigirl!Draco bit, so I can't make him suffer more.
Well, maybe... unless he wants something so badly he'll beg and... *cough* Ahem. Right...
