The Baroness had taken the best rooms in the stadium, there was no doubt about it. She wanted something secure and at the same time she wanted something where she could look outside and see the sky. The sky seemed weird from this high up, but it was still something.

When she heard the knock at the door, Ana frowned for a moment because she wasn't really in the mood to be a therapist anymore tonight. Snape babbling at her about Lily had settled particularly harshly on her last nerve and what she wanted was a drink and a bath.

"Come in." She said, and she went to the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of scotch and a pair of glasses before going to a set of leather chairs. The Baroness was sans her customary leather, and was instead wearing a black bathrobe.

Hermione stepped inside, surprised to see Ana looking so different when out of her leather. She rolled her eyes internally at herself- oh, yes, because the woman wasn't human and never had time to relax. What's wrong with you?

She spied the scotch, and quickly announced, "I'm not much of a drinker." Which wasn't to say she'd turn it down- just that it would be a good idea to. Still, common sense seemed to have gone out of the window lately. She took a look around, cataloguing rather than admiring, and sat down.

God bless comfortable chairs.

"Yeah well, it's a hell of the story. You may want one." One of the glasses was handed over to the girl when she moved to sit down. The Baroness knew that cataloging look when it was used, and she wondered if there was more to Granger than even Ana had thought.

It was going to get interesting. Especially when she knew the girl didn't trust her as far as she could through her.

"It's not as strong as firewhiskey, but it's still strong and you should take it slow." One leg was crossed for a moment, before Ana touched her glasses, frowning at her new mark as she did so.

"So I suppose I should start at the beginning then."

"Right. Thank you," she added belatedly, about to ask how Ana knew about firwhiskey but supposing that what contact she'd had with Snape's older self might have informed her. Whatever it was, it would be explained- she hoped.

She took a sip. Hermione had tried firewhiskey on a few occasions- after coming of age, of course- and had never been quite sure whether she liked the taste and the burn or not. The scotch was a similar experience- slightly less hot somehow, but still strong, as Ana had said, leaving her mouth tingling.

Something in her made her want to fidget impatiently, desperate for answers. She pushed it down, sitting primly still. Nothing for it but to listen, was there? She settled back and nodded, clearly attentive. "Best place for it."
