Hello my magnificent Monkeys!
Let’s see, got the blood work back on Dart and she is in great health, Vet seemed surprised that she's as old as she is, because she doesn’t show it. He did find a little debris in her urine, which might have been dead white blood cells, or might not have, it was only a trace amounts of the stuff, but just in case it ( Read more... )

Hooray for super healthy and youthful looney-D'Art!

When Newt was sick, the "side squirt" seemed ot do the trick pretty well. What color is the meds? pink or yellow?

Bamboo is beastly... and it spreads, if you're not careful, depending on the type. good workout, though!

I don't mind switching games, though switching rulesets can be hard... remembe rin plusses and minuses for a given system can be tricky if you're used to gurps and switch to champs, and back.

I was thinking about the Trism game the other day, since my current pursuit is named Mandy and a bit of a hippie chick. Those were good times - lots of fun storylines and roleplay happened in those games. You managed to pack a lot of stuff into 'em, and there was frequently good teamwork there.

I don' treally see a problem with Juggernaut sounding like a jerk... having him call someone a bitch is pretty close to his thuglike mindset. Adding new mutants is odd, given the huge number of them available form the actual xmen team ( ... )

Ever try Heroes Unlimited? I have a copy, but don't think I ever actually played it.

I own it too, never played it either, Paladuim rules are sorta notorious.

The meds are a pasty white, kinda looks like milk of magnesia,

The old Trism game a fun and mostly easy game to run, lot of good times indeed.

While I can see Juggernaut talking that way the fact that it was picked as a movie highlight is kinda telling.

I actually own Superworld; it’s a point buy system. My thing with Super-World is that it was a little dated and clunky in places. Back when it came out I thought it was a better than Champions, but then Champions had several revisions fixing the broken parts and Superworld never did so it got passed up.
May look into Feng Shui is that it might not have all the nut and bolts needed to play a full fledged four-color game.

Re: lost - My one real gripe is that they changed Locke--my favorite character last season--from a mysterious, ass-kicking, do-anything mystic into a whiny sissy crybaby who, it turns out, never knew what he was doing in the first place. So not only did they destroy the coolest character they had, they also retroactively ruined him for me in the first season because now I know he was just a clueless control freak the whole time when he seemed so cool and in-charge.

Fortunately, we now have Mr. Eko, the new cool mystic on the island who basically has taken over for season-one Locke.

It's also fairly clear that the whole Walt Is Kidnapped storyline that ran through the entire second season was just a way for the producers to get the character off the show forever since they must have realized that (oh crap!), one year in real time equals approximately one month on the island, and Malcom David Kelley is already a 14-year-old playing a 10-year-old, and there's no plausible way that this can be resolved.

So I think Michael and Walt must be gone for good. I don't care what anyone says; a father trying to get back his kidnapped son is one of the most understandable reasons for commiting murder.

It was a viable motivation, but that I said were I Hurly I still would have put a bullet in his head, because revenge is an understandable reason too.

Cool.
That will show them ninjas.

Of course one thing Ninja III: The Domination taught was only a ninja can kill a ninja.

Fortunately, you can bypass that by using the ninja's own body parts as a weapon against himself.

or make a crossbow that shoots sharpened ninja ribs, etc.
