Watched the last DVD of “House” I have to admit that toward the end my attention waned and I started doing other things. All in all it’s a decent show, just saw a bit too much in a short period of time and like I said before a lot of what happens follows a similar pattern which stands out when you see them all one after the other ( Read more... )

I don't think ol' Doc house is a cynic, though he is a bit of a social retard. He's smart enough to know when he's being abrasive, but is anyway, which shows a lot of disdain for his fellows.

He seems to be a realist to me, too, but lacks a bedside maner.

I prefer cgi to muppets, too, but I think puppety things can have a certain charm, like in labyrinth. I've been wanting to see Mirrormask, but haven't seen it yet. I trust your opinion, so hopefully you'll think it's good.

I think I couldn't get into farscape because it was a poorly written sci fi show. :D

Yeah I agree House is abrasive, and even a jerk sometimes, but not all that cynical. Kat feels the same too, though I get the feeling many would see all of us as being rather cynical folk.

I give ya review once I watch it.

Yeah, that probably was the main thing that kept me from watching Farscape too. Tough I did like that cartoon episode.

Well, that's true... I could see a pollyanna type calling any or all of us cynical, but I wouldn't say that we're sneering or derogatory all the time about our suspicions regarding mankind being a brutal and selfish lot.

I never saw the cartoon farscape! I actually sort of liked andromeda, too, despite the incredible lameness of the show.
