Bwah ha ha! Spock and McCoy did have more banter, didn't they? What a fun referencing of, as Sheldon put it, "the genre of fanfiction known as 'slash'" -- just the other day a friend and I were theorizing that the term probably began with Kirk/Spock (the original).
