Which trials in particular have you been reading about?

The trials of Truss and Barrow in particular. It's amazing how Truss swindled so many people out of their life savings in a scam and still got off scot-free due to a small loophole.
Barrow was a corrupt politician who lined his pocked with his supporters money and still managed to write it off.

It's really ridiculous that they get off on a technicality.

(ooc: I had to make something up since I'm not too familiar with any kind of Wizarding trials..lol)

If you think it's ridiculous, imagine how it was for the Auror who tried to put them away. He's a colleague of mine - David Rossi.
