a declaration/warning of impending pedestrian entries

It seems to me now, after a significant amount of time spent thinking on circles, that I need to get off the roundabout. This means that, for the purposes of attempted self-therapy, I'll be braindumping all over my lj. Apologies in advance. None of it will be witty, or well structured, or likely even particularly coherent ( Read more... )

Aaaaand this is why I wish LJ had an "agree" button. THIS, so very much this.

Also, gravityslave, if you would let us know whether you want advice or just want us to listen, I'd be grateful. I have this habit of giving advice whether it's wanted or not, and sometimes it's really not. *hugs*

I always read. I often don't comment for various reasons: too busy or feeling low myself so I can't dredge up the psychic energy. Or mostly I don't feel I have anything helpful to say, even though I know just commenting "I hear you" or "yep, happens to me too" might be all the help someone needs to hear. I'll try harder to be more participatory, but I make no promises.

Oh, no worries! I'm just needing to vent, but a little reflection by way of outside input now and again would be helpful - those are the sorts of things that help one know if one is going mad, after all. :)
