Testing xjournal. I'm not yet a huge fan of tags, but I'm glad it has a line for them. I'm using them for Carys stuff and will probably use this journal soon for keeping track of stuff about our move, for which I'll need a tag

hey there,got your reply but my computer is acting funny so i am on another and could not remember when we had the car seat chat. anyway, i would definitely stick with the Britax brand and skip the marathon, entirely overkill unless as you say you have a bigger than avg. kid. go for the roundabout. by 40lbs. and 4years old they can do the booster which is so much easier. sorry for the late reply but just arriving back from a mini break in Fla with my little ones.

I found a good deal on a Marathon through Craigslist - I think it was cheaper even than the Roundabout, and not even out of the packaging. So oh well. We'll deal with the bigger seat. Thanks for replying, though!

Yeah - Carys still definitely needs naps, but my goal is to do two naps for no longer than four hours total, which is what's recommended in the Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child book. I don't think she's ever actually done four hours of naps, unless you count a day when she got up super early and was back asleep by 7 AM!

It's hard to tell, but I think that we're finding that good sleep = more good sleep.
