I caved and bought the dvd of this for not that much money from Amazon as I keep missing the repeats. It was worth every penny imo, there's even a little bit in the behind the scenes stuff with RG being all handsy and pulling daft faces.

I despise DVD region coding. Why can't I get this in the US????

Technically you can get it in the US but only as a Region 2 import so I know what you're saying.

Quite a lot of US DVD players are region free - though sadly not the ones in PCs and laptops.

If I use VLC player, the dvd in my PC is essentially region free, but if I use Power DVD I only get a limited number of uses before it locks itself to a region. I un-installed Poser DVD before I got to that stage and installed VLC instead - much less hassle.

My cheap and cheerful dvd player connected to the telly is region free.

I'm surprised that region free stuff isn't as common in the USA.
