I just got back from visiting my friend ladybugjo  who has 4-month-old twins, Ian and Elanor.  I bought fabric to make a baby quilt for her a year ago, when they were planning to adopt, but then they got pregnant with their own pair of babies!

Here they are, and here's the quilt!  This one is for Ian.  I'm still working on a similar (but more girlish) one ( Read more... )

Thanks! Those kitties are so curious... It's hard to take a picture without one or both of them interfering.

What a beautiful quilt! I am always in awe of anyone who can sew those little patches of material into wonderful works of art. Well done.

This quilt is so nice! The pattern is really unique and I like the colors. It's different from any of the quilts I have seen before. I think Ian likes it too! :)

Thanks! I like star patterns. Usually I don't use a pattern, actually, but I like this one.

Now I have "Tea for Two" in my head. God, they're so adorable!

And the blanket is gorgeous.

Thanks!

Elanor Rose, no less - two Tolkienish names! Back when Joanna found out she was expecting twins and didn't yet know the gender, I made the guess that it would be two girls and she would name them Elanor and Rosie. I'm awesome!
