I think 6g is the best one, though the white line in the middle seems a bit forced. Maybe you can try smoothing it out so it has a better flow? Regardless, that looks much better than their original... Their original logo is GODAWFUL.

6g, 1c. It's just that when they get to be small you lose the smaller writing.

I agree with the commenter before me.

Their original logo is lame with that gradient!

The ones with the black innermost oval remind me of the South African Flag.

They didn't make it any easier for ya by having a name that doesn't make any darn sense. I'd probably go with 1c if I was just trying to get it to to a form that would silkscreen ok. As far as screen printing goes, it's easier to print stuff where
the colors don't overlap and cheaper if there's fewer colors. You don't want text shrunk down to less than 6 points or lines shrunk to less than .5 points.

I looked on the website to get the gist of what the company does. Since gold is one of their colors, think of the term, "black gold" for oil and see if you come up with any ideas. At least they aren't using an oil rig. Damn oil rigs are a bitch to get to silkscreen right, lol.

6g is getting somewhere. Maybe round out the corners and move the pieces out so there is more white space.

A lot of the placements for "iWellSite" look awkward :/ Can you stretch the whole thing a bit horizontally so you can fit it in the gold portion.

Eck what a job.

you mean the word stretch out in the middle of the gold portion of 6g?

zimfusion February 12 2009, 17:35:37 UTC
well stretch the gold portion so the word can fit comfortably and be readable

Actually, thinking about this some more I think the main visual problem is the green, red and gold are getting too muddy, you need more contrast. Since they insist on their shitty colors, the only way to keep it from looking muddy it to introduce a good deal more white space between the colors. And instead of having the gold part gold, completely remove it and put the words up there in gold instead. Maybe. Good luck.

Try designing it in black and white first and then introducing their colors.
