I always loved art and such, but I was dead set on becoming an elementary school teacher until my senior year of high school when I got meningitis. I ended up in the hospital for a few days and missed about a month of school because all I could do was sit straight up or lay in bed. I ended up spending an insane amount of time just sitting at my computer and talking to one of my friends who was going to school for graphic design and he would show me the projects he was working on and tell me the briefs and such for the class. Well, I was so bored that I started to do the projects too and he said I was pretty good, so I decided to look more into it. I ended up falling in love with design and now I am in my senior year of college and will graduate in may with a degree in design!
I always loved drawing when I was a kid (although after a bad teacher experience I stopped drawing) and took some technical drafting classes in High School which lead me into a graphic design class in College in England (equivalent of the last 2 years of High School here in the States). From there I was hooked.
I've always loved to draw and design things. To coordinate and match things, and just leave everything with an aesthetic gleam. I was either going to go for illustration/animation or graphic design, and I chose design because I don't have the discepline to make myself draw when I need to. Design comes to me much more readily, and when I can incorporate my drawing talents, it's all the better.
I wanted to go to college for art and explore all of the options when I was in high school, but I was definitely interested in graphic design. My dad was like, hell no, I won't pay for that

Real love. (with my creation)
I don't know if there is a greater gift than to please someone so deeply and intimately.
