on BBC2 at 8pm sounds interesting, but please please don't let DT-as-Rousseau attempt a French accent. A frilly shirt will be fine, though ( Read more... )

Boo to football wrongs. Someone on 606 made a very valid point that whenever Carlton Palmer is watching our game on Score, we lose. But then I never saw much of a point to Carlton Palmer anyway.

Ooh, if I was in Manchester tonight I would try and tempt you to the Retro Bar with promises of cheap Becks and olives out of tins...

Carlton Palmer has no actual use and I'm not surprised he causes us to lose matches.

Ooh, olives! I might just go to a bar in Chorlton and Sit There for an hour. Reading. Just cos.

I'm crap at social and all. I was out last night and that was enough. And that was just dinner at a friend's house.

Poor wee whale, it's not looking good.

For a change I won't be watching BBC2, I'm going to be watching skating! Whee!

Aw. I would love to go out and have wild fun but I don't know anyone else who wants to.

The whale just died :(

Yes, it is on in 28mins, although I don't think he's in it that much. We shall see.

Did you ever read that kids' story about Stanley Bagshaw finding a whale in the canal? I thought of that immediately!

It's weird. I like to think that I'm not particularly awkward socially, I do go out, have been known to be wild and all of that but when I reflect on my social life I seem to end up spending so much time just sitting in the flat, drinking tea and being bored. I mean, it's Saturday night: why am I here!?

I might go to the cinema, but no one wants to see the films I do.

Poor whale.

I don't even need to go put and be wild (although I don't feel too old for that yet) I just want to do stuff with other people, even if it's just play cards and watch DVDs. It's got so bad I'm thinkingof moving to a shared-house even though I hate sharing kitchens and I've had enough nutjobs for one lifetime.

Although Saturday night is overrated compared to the rest of the week.

*also needs cinema*

V. sad about the whale. Imagine getting lost and endding up dying in the Thames, how horrible.
