Oh, I remember really loving DS9, especially around season 5 etc. Great caracters, great interaction, everything not being black and white. I haven't seen any in ages though - I really should rewatch the show.

How much of BSG have you seen so far?

DS9 is the first series I ever 'fandomed', where I went on the net and read reviews and joined in with debates (on Usenet, so they were really intellectual). I hadn't seen any for ages, so when I saw it recently I was glad it stood up so well, mostly because of the great mix of characters and all that lovely greyness.

I have seen 9 episodes of BSG (with "The Hand Of God" in an hour, eee) on mystery unknown channel Sky3. From what I've read in spoiler-flirting, it goes downhill a lot at the end of Series 2 but the snippets I read still sound pretty interesting and people love to bitch :D

I've watched the episodes so far about theree times each!

They sure do :-P. I'd have to agree to some degree in this case - the second half of the second season is not my favourite - but the end of season one and the beginning of season two are really good in my opinion, and I'm optimistic about season three. How often do you get to see new episodes?

It's on every Thursday at 9pm, but I don't knbow if they're planning to show S2 yet. I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person in Britain who actually know the channel exists!

Ideally, I'd like to catch up in time for S3 starting as I hate to watch alone, but it depends on how soon I can get broadband and whether I mind only being able to find episodes with Spanish subtitles.

I hope the end-of-S2-slump doesn't last, but it's very early yet and they've got good actors, which is the most important thing.

Well the brown coat has always had a navy blue lining. I think it's more the mix of blue + brown + red that clashes.
