Well it's purposefully ambiguos so no, you didn't misunderstand; if thats how you read it, then thats how you read it. :) I didn't really mean for it to go any one way.

Thank you! >______<

Awww, well you should still right it, hon! Seashells are so cute and I would love to read a fic with one in it. ;)

Ahh, I'm left wondering what happened though...

But it was beautiful. Sadly it all was painted in front of me as I read. Kinda heartbreaking story, but all over... I loved it.

This was lovely, great imagery of the cold winter on a beach, seashell, their tender moment. Incredibly sad at the same time, unfortunately it is a reality of life. I can only guess what happened and where is Reita at the moment (maybe he is even dead, but I didn't get the impression you are that kind of an author), but from Kai's questioning his selfishness I kind of got the impression that maybe he demanded too much out of Reita. Not intentionally, but sometimes it happens, people make mistakes.

"Maybe there was too much of the ocean stuffed inside that seashell, and the promise had drowned in all those waves."
I don't know what to think of this, nice thought, only makes me think love is complicated :)

You often write KaixReita, do you ever make them happy in the end? Somehow it seems to me that in spite of emotions between them, love they share, they never make it whole to the end of your story.

Awwwww, thank you for your wonderful comment! :D

Yeah, well while I was writting I thought how it might potentially come off as though Reita had died, but as you said, I don't like deaths and I could never write about one.

Haha well about that, yeah I ReitaxKai is like all I write, and if I recall correctly I've only written two stories where they end up happily together. Sometimes they stay together, but they're not happy. :/ I don't know; sometimes I worry I might have like a love disorder. :P I'm a generally happy person but when it comes to love, it never seems to work out, not even when two people really care for each other. But that's not to say I've ever really been hurt by love, at least not more than the average person.

I am glad I got that right, knowing little bit about your writing style (reading this story and one other multichapter). You seem to write two of them in a relationship and/or in love but still something going wrong so they end up alone once again. I knew for you death doesn't have to be involved, just life itself is enough.
I think Reita/Kai is an interesting combination, of course you have your own way writing them, your feel for this pairing. I find it interesting, although I am a fluff soul, I appreciate variety in fanfiction. It is good. And I don't think you have to have some personal "tragic" love experience to write about it.
