A friend of mine and I were just discussing what happened to good ol' Crookshanks in DH. We couldn't remember reading where he ended up.

I think he was last mentioned in chapter six of DH or so... Hermione had him with her at the Burrow. So I can only assume he stayed there for the duration of the book.
