These are fabulous. I love how well he knows her -- he knew about the chocolate ice cream -- and yet she still manages to surprise him. And what a surprise it is, too! You've done a superb job of showing us how she's coping with the prospect of spending the holidays alone. And I adore how they both notice the subtleties about the other. The fact that he would put up with all of her decorating and even conjure up the fragrance she wanted ... well, it says a lot, doesn't it? Lovely, Ginny!
