I just had a giggle fit - Snape as Santa? Of course, it's Dumbledore fault. That man certainly has a twisted sense of humor.

Thanks! I got a kick out of making Severus actually play the role of Santa. And it just seemed like a Dumbledore thing to do, giving him a job like that from beyond the grave and all. Glad you got a kick out of it!

Wonderful! There were so many lines that made me smile or giggle or go awww... :-)

Snape-as-Santa though... hmm, maybe Dumbledore didn't like kids after all, what with recommending him for the job. ;-)

And I prefer to imagine Dumbledore oh-so-innocently twinkling from beyond the grave about his recommendation. While I think torturing Severus is undoubtedly part of the fun, I suspect he knew that either Severus would find a bit of holiday spirit or *someone* would step in to tame him in time for Christmas.
