I was inspred by the news that Mr Rickman is singing in Sweeny Todd. Whether Hungover!Snape is quite such a joy remains to be seen ;-)

Well, Hermione's is an otter, so they are both river creatures, but a big-beaked, lanky heron seemed to suit Snape. Seeing as he's grown up now, I thought his subconscience might have developed a little subtlety as well! Thanks for commenting!
