Yay! :-D

That was so lovely... and I'm glad they both have something to look forward to.

For eternity, indeed!

I can't imagine him giving her up at all ... he's a bit possessive, I suspect.

::SQUEE!!!::

Oh man, considering the drabble this is a sequel to, and the ones of mine over which we made this bargain... Who would think you'd manage to get to romance and a happy ending?

If Snape has to be dead, I want him in a universe where he has a good afterlife dammit, not one where he goes up to Lily and she's says, "Sorry, I'm with James."

I'm so very, very pleased you liked it. I think we've managed a parallel-development collaboration. How unique!

::nods::

I completely agree. I hate the idea that when Snape's dead he loses out in the afterlife too. I mean, we didn't see him strolling along in the forest with Harry! Grrr. Don't get me started, it still irks me a great deal.

And aren't we glad? As it turns out, these omissions were probably all slaps at the character on the JKR's part (Albus Severus notwithstanding). But I don't care. I'll take it.

Not that I don't find your take on this enchanting. I can't believe you for a minute considered not posting this. It's gorgeous and just hits that romantic spot in my soul this pairing seems to tickle so well.

Yes, I'm thrilled that we didn't see him after his 'death' because it gives us cavernous plot holes within which to create new lives for him. Although I think you're right about the reasons.

Well, I really didn't plan on it because I thought it might diminish the poignance of the other.

Why is it that with this happier drabble, my eyes are definitely stinging? Lovely stuff. Don't suppose you could be persuaded to write another?

The first one didn't get you but this one did? Cool! ::offers you a tissue::

I don't really see another in this universe really -- well, it would be a little too 'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir' I think.

But you never know.

I might be inspired.

::ponders::

Or maybe something else will crop up.

It's so romantic!

It really is, isn't it?

I wasn't going to post it because it almost steals from the poignance of the other, but harmony_bites said she'd write another drabble in her bookmark 'verse if I did. I really wanted to see that!
