Snape had it all - the position and power he had craved for so long, his foes on both sides now dead.
He was Lord of all… but was nothing when the dream returned again that night, despite sleep potions.
As always, he was sitting in a chair, chained to it, though there were no chains in truth.
The feeling of warm summer air on his white face announced her presence before Hermione stood serenely before him.
Hermione’s hair was a richly brown mass spilling down her back, her robes a deep red colour… her creamy skin invited his kisses.

Hermione smiled down at him, gently running her fingers down his face. Snape was unable to rise from the chair, part of him treacherously eager to stay... he clenched his hands.
Almost as an afterthought, Hermione sat upon his lap, her slim legs astride him. She hummed as she settled herself comfortably, her gentle movements nevertheless stirring and hardening Snape as always. He hissed…
Hermione’s lips softly parting, she leaned down as if to kiss him… drawing back at the last moment with a teasing look upon her face. Snape broke, as always, lunging forward to kiss her fiercely, desperately.

“Traitor,” Hermione crooned, before she started rocking sensuously upon him. Snape growled as he found his body unable to move now, even though the coaxing of her warm body made him harder.
Only when Hermione briefly writhed and keened her release, was Snape able to move, though he was always denied her warmth in return. Driven to near madness, he nevertheless thrust up against her, cursing in his desperation to find release.
Hermione laughed, enjoying and mocking his efforts, before the lover he had betrayed became dust.
He awoke with a scream, remembering Hermione’s dying curse to torment him, always…
