*sigh* so...so....*sigh*

Much better than the cliffs!

is this all? Is there more? Does he explain anything? Does she have anything else to say??

Hehe - thanks ... but the cliffs have their place in all series, I think ;)

That is all for now ... the resolution of their trust in each other was the biggest element for me.

They still have such a way to go, and that, as they say, is another story. There's a lot of tangential storylines that could come off here ... Severus and Eileen ... why he left the Death Eaters etc etc.

Lovely. I knew all that finger crossing would pay off ;) This is really nice by the way, the tension is well-detailed and believable.

Thank you ~ yes, it did help a lot.

I'm thrilled that the tension is well-translated from my mind to page. It's always a difficult one to achieve.

Thank you ~ with all that fighting, we had to see that there is some breathless attraction between them :)

The last line was truly lovely ... especially the 'rusty and unused' descriptors. Because, you know, the laughter means he really does trust her.

I've enjoyed this very much, as you know.

Thank you - for all your encouragement and supportive commentary along the way. It has been an interesting little project, and has done a lot for my confidence.

Next, I guess I should start that Blaise-Hermione for the Christmas prompt. Hmm.

You're most welcome. It's been my pleasure to read your journey of 2,800 steps or so.

Blaise/Hermione? Hmmmm. A very different dynamic. I'll be very, very interested to see what you end up with.
