“Actually, it’s hair. Glanmore is a Sealyham Terrier. He doesn’t shed. Unlike some animal residents of this house . . . ”
“OH! Crookshanks! He must be out of his mind!” Hermione leapt to her feet, searching the room for her familiar.
“Severus? Where’s Crooks? Have you seen him-”
Hermione froze next to Crookshank’s bowl. The singular smell of Polyjuice potion lay heavily in the air.
