Someone on my flist recently said, "Happy hyper-commercialization of an obscure Catholic saint's day," and I thought it was you, but now I can't find it on your blog. So whoever it was, you are hereby almost-acknowledged, and thank you.

Haha, that does sound like something I'd say, but I can't take credit for that gem. Lately I've been calling it Singles Awareness Day. Really enjoyed your story, by the way!

Love it! I'm totally with Hermione on the hyper-commercialization of an obscure saint business.

Hehe, she got an apology and a romantic gesture as well (although we haven't seen what he gave her). Aww, sweet!

(We celebrate St Valentine's, even if it is overly commercialised, pointing no fingers. In fact, it is suggested the Chaucer is responsible for adding the celebration of romance to the saint's day, so it goes back a way.)

A lovely moment in time. Like Neville, we find ourselves in the middle of some much bigger situation, and like Neville, we know everything's going to be alright. Severus has stepped up, and if there is one thing I know about Hermione, it's that she's a caring, forgiving sort that wants this to work as much as he does.

Thank you for this sweet Valentine. It made my day!

Very sweet!! Awkward gestures mean the most. They cost the most emotionally.
