I was starting to wonder 'which song?' - I love that Janis Joplin song, and loved your drabble. Those of us in the Order need to keep up with our drabblations.

Yeah, that line immediately popped into my head. I had a totally different scenario in mind at first though where Severus said it to her and she replied with the following line: 'Nothin' don't mean nothin', honey, if it ain't free.' But as usual, my characters wanted it told 'their way'. (Stubborn they are, that way.) :)

And I know, when I first started writing Drabbles at GS100 The Order was sort of the underdogs--which is why I chose them--but now most are MIA. I'll try to stop by more often, drabbling is fun.

I hadn't thought of song fic, I did check to see if there was a drunk Hermione challenge, but there wasn't. For some reason I like writing drunk Hermione--like Severus said, she's kind of cute. As far as being an opportunist, well, he said she'd get home safely, but she might just end up at his home. Fortunate Hermione, indeed. ;)

Thanks June. It was fun drabbling again, I must admit that my muse has not been very helpful of late. I have an LBB fic half written from last year that I had hoped to finish for this years fest but every time I open it I just stare for awhile then close it back up. I was in hopes that throwing out a drabble might kick start something. We shall see. :D
