I am loving this story. I know exactly what it is to be in this kind of vampire relationship. Isolated, brainwashed, manipulated, and ultimately, discarded after my use was no longer of interest. I found out a few months ago my vampire was dead, and I danced.

I'm glad you can control the outcome of this situation. Even the brightest witch of her age isn't immune to bad relationship choices.
