“Hi, sweetie. Did you enjoy your visit with daddy at the castle? How is Auntie Min? Did you see Hagrid?” Hermione smiled as she watched their daughter hop around the lounge.
“Hop, hop, hop.”
“Severus?”
“Guess who is living with Hagrid now? He has to be stopped.”
“Severus, he means well.”
“Means well? Need I remind you about Norbert?” Severus scowled as he thought of their visit.
“So he’s keeping bunnies now.”
“Not just any bunny. What’s the most famous bunny you know?”
“You can’t mean…” Hermione looked toward their daughter before whispering to her husband, “But he’s not real.”

Severus looked at his wife. “I am a wizard. You’re a witch. You know magic is real. We fly on brooms.”
“I don’t fly on brooms.”
“Hermione, are you really telling me you don’t believe in the Easter bunny? You know that most Muggle traditions and superstitions are based at some point on actual magic.”
“And the Easter Bunny?”
“The Goddess of spring, Eostre, had a large hare as a companion that she used to…uh…dress up. I’m sure that’s where the Muggle Easter bunny comes from.”
“Right, and next you’ll be telling me Santa Claus is real.”
Severus just smiled.
