Yeah the absence of LJ's default 'color' of the font made it impossible for me to read so I changed the color to white. Will change it to yellow in hopes that no one is viewing this with a yellow background color for their friend's page. If it doesn't turn up for you again simply select the blank space and the words will 'magically' appear.
I really understand the emotion here. We had an adoption (thirty years ago now, but time seems to barely numb things sometimes) that didn't go through. Neither my husband or I couldn't deal with returning the things we had, my mom had to do it for us.
