Severus collected the last vials from his students before they filtered out. Glancing around the room, he was about to ask Rose what she’d like for lunch.

Rose wasn’t in the classroom.

She wasn’t down the hall.

She was too far for his seeking spell to work.

Severus panicked. If anything happened, Hermione would kill him.
