Draco's considerate here. Well, at least he's not a spoilsport. Hmm, I'm wondering, this scenario would likely be if there's a marriage law or something.

Well, the idea in my head was that Draco and Hermione had become friends and after Severus' "death" Draco took care of her - perhaps even thought they were in love - but always with an underlying unresolved something about Severus. Although a marriage law scenario could also work - but I sort of thought of it as an old-fashioned duty from Draco, taking care of his friend who was also his godfather's love... (heck, the explanation is almost longer than the drabble, LOL) =)
