Nope. But nice guess! I have Love Actually and the movie I was thinking of here in my hard drive and compared the two. Turns out in Love Actually Rickman's glasses are a dark shade of brown but not black. :D
And he looks much better with the glasses on the movie I thought of in writing this. Haha, I love how he looks in that movie despite his age.

Nope. Though I haven't seen that film yet. Is it good? But I swear when I saw some fanvids he's wearing sunglasses but not eyeglasses. Haha, now see here if you could finally guess it. It's the only one of his films like that. The movie never reached the cinemas nor television. Does it ring a bell? :D

I wouldn't know about the glasses changing someone's look from personal experience. way back when when I tried to do the contacts route...no one could tell the different between me with and me without glasses. *sigh*

but I do know I prefer my hubby in his glasses...makes him sexier.

I absolutely LOVE John Gissing. He's brilliant in it and very sexy in those glasses. Alan definitely needs to do more comedy, he's so funny even when he's not supposed to be. That's such a great movie. :)

Agreed as well! Haha, now it got me wondering, in what movie (despite being Snape :D) do you like his performance the most?

To me Search for John Gissing wins in case of looks but with the role its different.
