I have to admit I normally do not like chocolate covered cherries because commercial ones are made with maraschino cherries. The one described is my own homemade recipe made with real cherries.

Maraschino cherries give me the creeps. Dunno why.

I'll just have to stop by the local chocolate confections shop and see if they have any with actual cherries. *wiggles eyebrows* Or if I had more time, I'd make them myself. Alas.
