As soon as I saw the Cerberus mentioned in the third circle, the plot bunny bit... (it's sort of funny though because whatever Snape's sins are, I think gluttony is not terribly high on the list ;0)

Lovely--scars are rather a fanon cliche, but this is a sure one rarely brought up in fic--and I like how you flipped the hell into heaven.

Yes - the scar stroking is rather cliche, but with the Cerberus living in the third circle of hell, that's the first thing that jumped to mind! Thank you!

It didn't feel cliched here btw--I think because that particular attack is rarely if ever mentioned--and that would be one scar he'd really have to have--from the description you get the idea that dog took chunks of his flesh! (and I guess Buckbeak got his licks in--poor Snape!). And I didn't think of Cerberus! You're right--Fluffy so fits!

That was always a puzzling incident for me - maybe because a Cerberus is a magical beast, it leaves wounds that resist healing by magic. But the whole scene with him and Filch still seems like a mighty strange way to seek medical care.

It's off topic but I love your icon. May I ask where does it come from?

I made it from a film still of Brody in "The Village". I like yours, too! :-)

Just beautiful. And I love the way they were both wrong in the past, and have still managed to start anew, putting all that behind them without forgetting.

Thank you, kribu! I haven't written anything in quite a while, so it was nice to finally feel an idea bite!
