Oh, so lovely. So well done. Take a bow, or several bows.

When I think about one-hundred words, many things come to mind. One-hundred seems like a lot, but it's not. If a drabble is done properly, as you have, Shug, it packs so much emotion, meaning, content and beauty into those few words. Sure, this could have been accomplished in a conventional manner, as a chapter story or a one-shot, but why mess with perfection? You conveyed Hermione's and Severus' anguish and longing with economy of words and perfection. And there's a happy ending to boot.

Bravo!

Aw, thank you so much for the love comments! There is something about the drabble/drabble series that just works for me. It's the compactness of emotion, using only the meat of the story ... it's a very good exercise in restraint for me (cuz I tend to get wordy sometimes). ;)

Thanks, again!

Perfect ending. I guess Severus will still have to deal with his feeling of guilt because he hadn't fought since the beginning, but they're safe!

Thank you so much, m'dear! Yes, Severus will feel guilt, but also just a profound relief that he was able to come to his senses and take care of the threat once and for all. Glad you enjoyed this one!
