Sad, very sad, in a way. And brilliantly written.

Perhaps it's sad, but at least they're honest with themselves and each other. Which is kind of hopeful.

Thank you!

Very sad, but brilliantly written. Count on Hermione and Severus to be painfully realistic. But I can't help smirking at "the school bicycle," though ^_^

Thank you very much!

"School bicycle" is an oldie but sadly funny. Anyone can go for a ride...

LOL! All those nasty things that Ron and Harry could say, but don't often get the chance to.

That's a wonderful antidote to the usual teacher/student fic-I'm speechless.

I love SSHG but I don't write student/teacher romance... I just can't see these two failing to analyse it in these terms. They're both hyper-aware of imbalances of power in the books and so very unhedonistic. Is that even a word? Well, you know what I mean... what with the Jane Austen.

Thanks!

Yes, precisely-there are so many reasons I can't see it happening, and that's one of them. Even if one of them were able to move past it, I don't think both would be able to. And, yeah, these two are probably the last I would label hedons (which also may not be a word).
