It reminds me of talesofsnape's Thorns series, which is something like a novella in drabble form. So very difficult to do, and so very fun to follow.

I particularly like that you've already had them be intimate ... so that the big pay-off isn't them falling into bed together, but rather a more emotional sort of connection (if your story heads that direction.)
