Heee! Aside from several details that I absolutely love (Yvonne Saint-Laurie unfailingly cracks me up), I can't get over the twistiness of the plotting that the Other Side is entrenched in. Ruthless bastards to the last, the lot of them.

I'm anticipating lots of lovely backlash from all this, too; Ginny may have her moments, but she's not really the brightest bulb overall -- and I can't wait to see the fallout when something inevitably gives.

Oh yes, they're ruthless bastards. Wait until they begin to tear each other apart! And, as you say, Ginny's not the brightest bulb (if you don't mind, I'll snag that as an insult for her), so I think there will be indeed a fallout.

omg...I sense disaster coming soon via an Eileen and Tobias reunion....I'm also surprised that Hermione would let Lavender anywhere near her wedding as Lavender+anything slightly social=trouble Lockhart style...

Tobias and Eileen... well, I sense a lively moment there.

Hermione is somewhat downbeat after the reunion of the Interspecies Committee, and the matriarchs plus Ginny have steamrolled her into agreement. But I doubt she'll be enchanted by Lavender's management of the event.
